The male wild population is mainly distributed in Sierra de Gredos (Ávila), Ports de Tortosa-Beceite and Maestrazgo (Aragon and Catalonia), Madrid mountains and hills south and east (Sierra Nevada, Malaga , Cazorla, Segura, etc. ). You can see in the picture distribution map of Spain.
